Welcome to the official site of the West Broward High School TV & Film Booster Club. We’re a dedicated group of parents, alumni, and supporters working to champion the talents of our student filmmakers. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and hands-on support, we help provide the resources and experiences that inspire students to dream big, tell bold stories, & shine on screen.
We’re proud to announce that the West Broward High School TV & Film Club will be among the Official Selections screened at the prestigious 2025 All-American High School Film Festival, held in New York City from October 14-20, 2025. This international festival, the world’s largest dedicated to high‑school filmmakers, brings together student creators from around the globe for a weekend of screenings, industry workshops, networking, and the Teen Indie Awards.
Students from the West Broward High School TV & Film Club spent their summer hosting multiple fundraising events at Publix locations across Broward County, working together to raise valuable funds in support of the club’s creative projects and upcoming initiatives.
On the April episode of Bobcat Broadcast, WBTV celebrates the vibrant spirit of the community through storytelling that matters. Highlights include an inspiring feature with a local business owner passionately sharing how they’re championing daily health and nutritious habits in their neighborhood. The episode brings together voices and initiatives that illustrate how community well‑being starts with local action.
We’re proud to spotlight alumnus Giancarlo Zarich, a rising filmmaker whose latest project, K/Casa, is currently fundraising on Seed&Spark. Inspired by his own multicultural identity, K/Casa blends supernatural storytelling with heartfelt reflections on grief, family, and belonging. Let’s rally behind Giancarlo as he works to amplify underrepresented voices in film.
